US Ghost Towns ...Researching Ghost Towns arcoss the US

Welcome to US Ghost Towns, affiliated with the American Local History Network (ALHN) and the American History and Genealogy Project (AHGP), which is an unincorporated not-for-profit network of independent sites devoted to History & Genealogy, covering North American Countries and Territories.

The US Ghost Town project seeks to provide information on the various ghost towns throughout the United States through the efforts of volunteer state coordinators that manage websites for their local area. Within each state website is generally found a core group of volunteers dedicated to providing countless hours of research, exploration and photography, and information on the areas in which they reside. Each state's website will have a different feel, a different look, and will take on the personalities of the volunteers pouring their precious time in to the project.

There are many states that are in need of adoption. PLEASE consider helping us out and becoming a state project coordinator. Help us to provide information, pictures, and research on the various ghost towns throughout the United States.
